In China, students are typically sponsored by their companies and attend intensive classes over four weekends each month. The courses consist primarily of lectures covering a wide range of subjects, balancing theory and practice. Essentially, this setup provides on-the-job training alongside earning a degree, making it suitable for entrepreneurs or managers who have advanced to middle and senior levels within their companies but do not yet hold an MBA degree.
PhD and DBA are both doctoral degrees. Both must engage in high-level professional research in business administration. Their academic levels are the same, but PhDs usually focus on research in management theory, while DBAs are problem-oriented, solving practical management problems through rigorous academic research.
Only those who have a master's degree with at least 5 years of management experience and who have passed the relevant auditing and investigation procedures of the MUST regarding the admission of doctoral students can be admitted.
The Business Administration program boasts a top-notch curriculum designed with experienced, highly qualified professors. Our students are one of the program's greatest strengths, as the typical DBA student has already had a successful career in the corporate, non-profit and government sectors, and they enter the classroom with a wealth of experience and knowledge.
Students are required to submit a total of two academic papers in the first and second academic years. In the second and third academic years, students are required to complete corporate research and submit corporate research reports. Students must publish at least one academic paper in a journal recognized by the college during their studies. The doctoral thesis must pass the review and be defended.
The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) is a professional practice-oriented doctoral degree that examines real business and management problems through a critical review and systematic application of professional theories. The program will help students master the research methodologies and analytical skills needed to engage in professional practice-based research and enhance students' applied research skills.
